We’re not really saintly people. The mundane routine of our lives coupled with teenage restlessness caused us to participate in more debauchery than we’d like in our younger years. We soon grew bored of that too, so we started hanging out with people who needed us more than our friends did. The rewards that we reaped from volunteering with various organizations were pleasantly surprising. Helping other people sort out their lives, in turn, helped us put our own lives in perspective. We’re their martyrs, and they are ours. It is a mutual trade - so walk with us and experience the different walks of life. The world may not be one dimensional, but we as people can definitely move as one.
